Ingredients

  • A chicken or chicken carcass rinsed
  • 3 liters of cold water
  • An onion
  • Two cloves of garlic
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 leek
  • Two branches of celery
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Some stalks of parsley
  • A branch of thyme
  • Salt
  • A pinch of Cayenne pepper

Preparation

  1. Peel and cut the carrots into slices.
  2. Chop the onion and garlic.
  3. Cut the celery and leek into pieces.
  4. Put the whole thing in your Instant pot.
  5. Add the carcass, bay leaf, thyme and parsley.
  6. Cover with cold water.
  7. Salt and pepper as you please.
  8. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  9. Bring the water to a boil.
  10. Cook over medium heat for about 1 hour.
  11. Let the broth cool.
  12. Then remove the layer of fat frozen on the surface and pass your broth to the Chinese.
  13. Enjoy your hot chicken broth!
