But not anymore, I have a solution for all of you, and that is instant pot, yes-instant port lets you cook quickly, safely and easily and comes with a lot of options. You can cook like a chef despite being an amateur by just clicking the buttons, and the instant pot will do all the work for you.

As we are living in a fast pace world and everyone is so buying that they do not have much time. Therefore, by using this instant pot, you can quickly very fast and save half your time and spend that time with your significant other.

Who would have thought that you can cook a cake in an instant pot, instead of an oven and cook it within no time? So today I am going to share a chocolate lava cake for your Valentine’s dinner date, but before making a dessert in an instant pot.

You have to keep the water at a certain level in the pot. So that it can cook easily, place the steam rack and water and then the dessert containers so that you can take our dessert cups easily.

Chocolate Lava Cake:

Ingredients:

  • 1 c dark chocolate chips
  • ½ c butter
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ c sugar
  • ¼ c flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • For garnishing, use mint leaves and raspberries.

Recipe:

  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for a minute and stir it until smooth.
  • In a bowl, add all the ingredients except butter and mix well.
  • Add chocolate mixture to the batter and mix well.
  • Grease the ramekins with cooking spray.
  • Place steam rack first and then 2 cups of water and lastly the ramekins.
  • Close the lid, select the sealing button, and cook it for 8 minutes on high pressure.
  • Release the pressure manually and take out the dessert.
  • Serve the lava cake along with a scoop of ice cream or mint leaves and raspberries.

You can add sugar instead of dark chocolate, and you can top the cake with caramel. This cake is easy to make and cooks in a time of 8 minutes and since the amount of floor is very less so this recipe is gluten-free.

Conclusion:

The best thing about this instant pot is, you can keep your dessert containers inside. But there are also some problems with the instant pot that bothers me. First, one is whenever you will cook; you will get the smell of previously cooked from your rubber seal. So if you are using instant pot make sure you hand wash the lid and rubber seal.

Another problem with instant pot is that if you put too much water inside for boiling or anything, the water will start dripping out from the pot. Therefore, it is important that you do not add too much water to the instant pot. Lastly, the manual is very confusing and lacks information, which makes it hard for the new person and he end up ruining his food.

Therefore, before you put your hands on this instant pot, it is important that you watch videos on the internet as to how to use it.

Lastly, If it’s your first time of using instant pot for making a dessert, then do be intimidated, its very easy but you need to understand few things, and that is your cake is going to be a cook on high pressure in an instant pot instead of an oven.

And since you are cooking in a pressure cooker, the texture will be different from that of a cake that is made in the oven. You will also need a pan so that you can plan the cake batter on it and make sure it fits inside the instant pot. Also always cover your pan with the aluminum foil, make an aluminum sling to take out the cake.

This sling is made using the aluminum foil that is folded twice or thrice lengthwise and uses that to lighten up your pan by wrapping it around the pan.
